August 13, 2024Eight days ago, after watching a video about Waraich Express sleeper service, I decided to book a ticket with them from Rawalpindi to Karachi. Unlike other travel companies, their customer service is not very reliable, and the online booking process through their official channels is not smooth. After much effort, I managed to contact the number listed for online booking on their website. It took a lot of persistence before they finally attended my call and provided me with the number for the Rawalpindi 26 Number Bus Terminal, suggesting that I contact them directly for my booking.
I called the provided number, and the person on the line confirmed my booking. He assured me that he would send the ticket via WhatsApp once I made the payment through Easypaisa. I transferred the payment of 9500 PKR, and he sent me the ticket for today’s date, with a departure time of 7:40 PM from Rawalpindi 26 Number.
I arrived at the terminal at 7:00 PM, as scheduled. The person at the counter confirmed that my ticket was valid, writing it down by hand and telling me that the bus would arrive shortly. However, when the bus arrived, I discovered that all the seats were full and my booking had not been confirmed. I confronted the person, and he told me to contact the number I had initially called. When I tried calling him, there was no response, neither by phone nor on WhatsApp.
In the end, I didn’t get a seat, and they refunded my money, explaining that my booking hadn’t been properly confirmed due to an issue with the internet. This is the state of a company that’s supposedly running a major operation, yet they don’t have reliable customer service. Despite making numerous calls, no one picks up, and it’s impossible to check bookings online through their website or Bookme.pk. Then they go on to make grand promotional videos, but what’s the point if they can’t run their company properly and provide passengers with a reliable way to communicate their concerns?
